Alan, This is a great equipping tool! Makes good sense and is usable. I wonder if going one step further would be prudent? Perhaps asking if the person wants to glorify God? ... there is always the age old question..."What's in it for me?" Why do I want to glorify God? What is the payoff to knowing my purpose?.... then taking them to the understanding of the internal longing for love and significance...that we are completely acceptable without condemnation in Christ... and out of that place of unconditional love we want to please the Father by glorifying Him. Perhaps I am redundant in this and you deal with it in another teaching. Just some thoughts.
