Thank you Pastor Alan for this gift of the Napking Presentation. You did this for my husband Jerry and I in July 2001. He has been our pastor and has felt God drawing him elsewhere. We will miss him, thanks for the parting gift. This is such a powerful way to present the gospel.

I love this presentation!!
I can see the importance here in being sure that there is someone in the wings ready to make disciples and PRAY for the new babes. New babies need nursemaiding and formula. Sometimes we feed an infant on demand, other times we put them on a schedule, but in any event they will feel a bonding to the one that helped them in their new birth and the babe will look to them for nourishment for a season. Our job is not complete until we know that the new child of God is safely put into the arms of the adopted family. I think another meeting or two with the new believer and a mature Christian willing to disciple would be a good transition and the new believer will not feel abandoned or like a project, but rather valued and loved. I think this is a needed support system for the church that has strongly evangalistically gifted people in the body. (As we all should have.) Even if we lead someone to the Lord in a strange city, what good is it if they do not grow up. In that event, they need to be made aware of the importance of being fed, and some support system put in place. The parable of the sower and the seed comes to mind here. (In the last year I have only led two people to the Lord, but I am convicted by my own words. I have been remiss in securing a support system for them... I need to change that.)
Alan, thank you for so freely giving to others what you have received. May you and your household be blessed 100 fold.
