This overview workshop will introduce participants to 3 key principles for creative and innovative responses to opportunities that may present themselves. Discover how to assess conditions in such a way to respond in a creative manner, ultimately sustaining greater impact for the work of ministry. Expanded conference is 3-5 hours, including interactive group learning activities.

Bobby Gilstrap is the Lead State Missionary (or Executive Director) of the Baptist State Convention of Michigan (http://MichiganBaptists.org). He is leading Michigan Baptist to be "Partners in Advancing God's Kingdom" by "Doing whatever it takes to see lives transformed for Christ through starting, strengthening and mobilizing churches." He moved from being the Director of Missions for Huron and Southeastern Baptist Associations in southeastern Michigan (http://findMIchurch.org/) where his ministry included assisting churches with mission strategy, church starting, evangelism and church health and growth. He also is the host and moderator of the national broadcast of the Audio Conference for Pastors. His family (Brenda, Robert, & Andrew) have lived in Michigan since January of 2001. He has served as a pastor and church starter and as a mentor, supervisor and consultant for numerous pastors and church planters. Gilstrap has also served several churches in associate positions and as the pastor of four churches (3 bivocationally). In addition to his 30+ years of ministry experience, he has started several photography businesses, and has been in management and sales for several media, retail and marketing businesses. Gilstrap also served three years on the Executive Leadership Team of the Network of Baptist Associations (http://NoBAsbc.org/), a professional organization for Southern Baptist associations.
