Gerry,
I appreciate your insights into small churches. Thank you for showing that both the large and the small have different strengths that need to be empasized. Is it possible to provide resources and training that is targeted on the small church? We are seeing more and more individuals and families wanting to be involved in small (house) churches. However, there is not enough leadership, at this point, to meet the demand. Blessings.

Gerry,
I appreciated what you had to say. It brought back memories of the Blackaby-Koster-Conner vision. I wonder if some of the things that ccould have been done better were that the stategy should have been to major even more on relationships and not getting bogged down on acquiring or building buildings;maybe more could have been done to develope indigenous lay-leaders that could lead more of a house church that would have a larger rally meeting monthly or quarterly. I know hind sight is always easy.
Blessings,
Dave

To be very honest I am not aware of many resources that are available presently to help the small church and it's leaders. Maybe you or others are aware of some possibilities and training resources.

Hind sight is always perfect.
I think the key for the small church is to do what is good at relationships and intimacy. Gerry

What an enthusiastic coaching time to energize church leaders! Your personal experiences bring some fun into the instruction too. Thanks for sharing this online!
Christ's example of igniting His kingdom with only 11 men keeps popping into my head as I listen.
